Whatever happened to Ian Campbell, you say / . He like perhaps too the train of each party environmental ministers wants to pretend that you can get credit for pinning the tail on the donkey with a blindfold on .
The greatest evil is being done in the name of environment . The safety paralient needs, it is eroding, by making a joke out the very things that scientifically and practically detremine our childrens future .
Why aren't the people alarmed ?

What ever happened to Hon Ian Campbell to make him think he would win by trumping the parrot . He clearly needs to look closely at his advisors and even those inthe states, as well as his own intentions. Broadly this nonsense shows that the disease of trumping is not dead and that govts have probaly benn slack at dealing with it since Mr Kennett first coind the trem . Trumping parrots is an inexcusable , cynical piece of crap that has no place in either science or politics .liberal or labor. but they are in it up to their eyeballs .

The feds are in a mess because they like the vic states have fallen for the idea that the Biodiversity and conservation act is a good thing . well it is not and most of us who care about the country and know how to influence land use decdieons in a respoonsible way know that this sort of over heavy legilsation first approach can be exepeceted to kill more sound caonservation causes than it will ever save.
The victory of those who love the law above common justice will i hope be short lived. If you want the right to change land use you have to use science and common sense and not rely on the law in the way ideologoes in govt at state and fed level are now doing .
Remember there is currently little state process for sustainability justice ( "fight your own batteles if you have the money!") , but much engine and machinery in the feds hands to impose the law .The wind energy companies can afford to fight . spare a thought for rural producers who get cut to pieces by this crap .

a good liberal once said the greatest evil is done in the name of the best intentions
